Do's and Don’ts Be kind to yourself and others, but also to your ears! Bring ear protection or purchase earplugs from us in the foyer or at the bars. Only our smoke machines are allowed to smoke indoors, and unfortunately, professional cameras cannot be brought in without accreditation. Check out all the Patronaat house rules here. Got questions? Want to catch up? To ensure that both the artists and your fellow visitors can enjoy the show as much as possible, we kindly ask you to have conversations before and after the acts, or to take a seat in our foyer!
Hop on your bike! We encourage our visitors to leave their cars at home and opt for public transport, walking, or biking instead. A free, supervised bike parking area is available at Hortusplein in Haarlem, behind the Jopenkerk. If you still plan to drive, there’s a parking garage right across from Patronaat. For those arriving by public transport, Patronaat is just a 10-minute walk from Haarlem Station, and buses 2, 3, 73, 81, 300, and 340 will bring you close to the venue.
Lastly… At Patronaat, we strive to offer all visitors a safe, accessible, and above all, fun experience—a place where you can be yourself and express your creativity. Input and tips from our audience are indispensable for this. Do you see or experience something during this show that you think could be improved or done differently? Or would you like to share an idea or experience with us? Share it with us, confidentially and anonymously if desired, via inclusie@patronaat.nl.
